OVERVIEW. This part includes all those works traditionally referred to as “juvenile”; it lists works that also are appropriate for “young adult” audiences or otherwise published in young or adolescent-reader venues. Included here are so-called graphic novels (or comic books) designed for younger audiences. Also included here are works created by young and adolescent authors. The “Fiction” section lists novels and other purely fictional works, including works written as “historical fiction” and matter that follows a fictional narrator or human character even though the content of the work is factual.
